Teamwork is a vital part of organizational life. Participating effectively in teams requires the ability to use leadership skills appropriately. Areas covered include: group dynamics, leadership, decision making, problem solving and conflict management.
During this course students will participate in structured activities and group discussions that will provide them with an understanding of how groups develop and function effectively. Lectures, readings and discussions will reinforce this understanding. Students will also have the opportunity to examine the role of the individual within the group - both as a participant and as a leader.
